Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Seven people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

April Shantell Ward, 25, of LaFayette has been charged with the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree;

Ira Thomas Ledbetter, 72, of Lanett has been charged with three counts of distribution of a controlled substance;

Justin Wayne Hill, 36, of Lanett has been charged with the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, second degree;

Kimberly Anne Templeton, 38, of Valley has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, second degree;

Daniel Alan Noon, 29, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to pay child support;

Brandon James O’Steen, 27, of Valley has been charged with discharging  a firearm into an occupied vehicle, domestic violence, third degree, and attempting to elude, and

Matthew Vincent Shields, 41, of Wadley, Ala. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of domestic violence, third degree.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Tiffany Lashae Floyd, 26, of West Point, Ga. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Leon Aaron, 39, of Phenix City, Ala. has been charged with impersonating a police officer, and

Brandy Elizabeth Jones, 24, of Valley has been charged with criminal trespassing, third degree.

Lanett reports

LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Tiffany Lashae Floyd, 26, of West Point has been charged with FTP.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, second degree, and the fraudulent use of a debit/credit card was reported on the 500 block of South 15th Avenue, harassment was reported on the 800 block of South 15th Street, and theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 2400 block of 28th Avenue SW.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Thursday. According to West Point Police Department reports.

Kevin Childs of LaGrange, Ga. was charged on a warrant from Harris County.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, burglary was reported on O.G. Skinner Drive, card fraud and a hit and run incident were reported on West 9th Street.
