LaGRANGE, Ga. — On April 24, Narcotics Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office, along with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service, arrested Katherine Mae Groce at 135 Ramp Road after a lengthy narcotics investigation.

Groce has been charged with 11 counts of Distribution of Methamphetamine and 11 counts of Items prohibited for Possession by Inmates.

These charges stem from Groce attempted to sneak Methamphetamine into the Troup County Jail via the inmate mail system, which were unsuccessful each time. Additional arrests are pending.
