First Annual Community Revival Summit to be held next week

Riverview community will have their first Annual Community Revival Summit, beginning Wednesday, May 9 – Friday, May 11. Guest Evangelist is Rev. Jasper Williams, III, pastor of The Church, Fayetteville, GA. Combined members from the RiverView churches has formed a choir and will render music. Liberation and Riverview Pentacostal pastors will give words of encouragement. Host church is Liberation Christian Ministries, where Bishop Micah & Pastor Vanita Bonner are the pastors.

IT’S TIME to stop sweeping academics promotion under the rug. The Lanett High School presented a new awakening in educational growth, Wednesday, May 2, at 9:30 AM. Class of 2018 had a signing day for academics to the college they will be attending. Special congratulations to Lanett for being the first school in area communities in Chambers County to hold a choice time for academics to sign, or the attendance for academic growth. We wish you well!
SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS to Cameron Reed for being given the opportunity to be have time with Alabama Governor in Montgomery, AL. Cameron is an alumnus of Lanett High. That’s great.
ANNUAL MISSIONARY Day for St. Stephens CME Church was celebrated Sunday, April 22, 2018, at 3:00 PM EST. Guest Minister: Rev. George C. McCulloh and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. The day was well enjoyed.
THE COMMUNITY Baptist Church, Host Pastor Rev. Dr. David Core, Sr., Pastor held Spring Revival with Guest Evangelist: Rev. Edward Lane, Pastor of Rising Star Baptist. Community Church family extends appreciation to all who joined them.
ST. LUKE AME Church observed Stewardess Day, Sunday, April 22. Guest Speaker and Church: Rev. Joe Nalhan Benton, Pastor of St. Mark AME Church, Opelika, AL. Lorraine Dozier was guest representing St. Stephens.
THE SHILOH Baptist Church, Hogansville, GA celebrated 100 Men in Black, Saturday, April 28 at 6:00 PM. Gary Sheppard represented St. Stephens as guest. They had a joyous time.

WE PAUSED to share the times in sorrows with the condolences. Many communities shared the grief of the family of Ms. Mae Julia Booker. Ms. Booker will be missed. We are praying for you all. We were shocked and hurt to the communities to hear of the lost of Drucilla (Pinky) Walker. We send our grievances to the families for they have lost a loved one. Your days will be lighter in prayer.
