Ms. Shirley Claybrook

LANETT — Ms. Shirley Claybrook, 64, of Lanett, Ala. passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Ala.
Ms. Claybrook is survived by her four sons, Robbie (Tammy) Johnson of Cusseta, Ala., Jason Duck of Valley, Ala., Jackie (Angela) Duck of Valley, Ala., and Chris (Cheryl) Duck of Canton, Ga.; her eight grandchildren, Ryan Johnson, Pacey Duck, Cade Duck, Savannah McMakin, B.J.McMakin, Brittany Duck, Morgan Duck, and Matthew Duck; her sister, Linda (Larry) Miller; her nieces and nephews, Christy (Scott) Stephens, Derek (JoAnna) Miller, and Amy (Jody) Antley.
Ms. Claybrook was born on June 10, 1953 in Valley. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Five Points, Ala. She was a lady who was strong in her faith, and who had a great love for her children and grandchildren. She was an avid University of Alabama fan.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Rusty Letson officiating. Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
