Lanett reports

LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Brittany Shanice Washington, 27, of Lanett has been charged with aggravated child abuse and domestic violence, second degree;

James Carlos Matthews, 46, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Todricas Deontae Askew, 36, of Lanett has been charged with burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, and

Antoneisha Shunbria James, 34, of Lanett has been charged with two counts of the fraudulent use of a credit/debit card.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1400 block of 21st Street SW.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Corey Huguley, 44, of Valley has been charged with failure to pay for child support, theft of property, theft of property, third degree, and attempting to elude a law enforcement officer;

William Booth, 68, of LaFayette has been charged with elderly abuse, second degree, and

Brittany Washington, 27, of Lanett has been charged on a grand jury indictment of aggravated child abuse and domestic violence, third degree.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Corey Jermaine Huguley, 44, of Valley has been charged with public intoxication and giving false information to a law enforcement officer, and

A 15-year-old juvenile has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 3000 block of 19th Avenue, physical harassment and criminal mischief, second degree, were reported on the 500 block of Highway 29 and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 4800 block of 48th Street.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating an incident of criminal trespassing that reportedly took place Wednesday on Avenue D.
