The 20th annual Langdale Reunion was held on May 19, 2018, in the Family Life Center of the Langdale United Methodist Church.

Gail White, John Lyons, his daughter, Suzy, and his brother, Frank, welcomed everyone and gave out name tags.

A delicious lunch of fried catfish with all the trimmings and banana pudding was served by Sheriff Sid Lockhart and his lovely wife, Sharon.

After lunch, Paul and Ellen Norred Meadows, hosts for the reunion, reminded everyone that the reunion is always held on the Saturday after Mother’s Day. Anyone that has ever lived, worked or gone to school in Langdale and their family and friends are invited.

Paul and Ellen recognized each of the veterans in attendance. The veterans’ names were called and their branch of service was announced. The group was thanked for their service and given a standing ovation. Paul and Ellen then led in a fun Langdale trivia game. Recognized for having travelled the longest distance was Carey Wilkerson of Ninnekah, OK.
