VALLEY — Mr. Reggie J. Pearson was born on October 19, 1967 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Tommie J. (Minnie) Pearson in Valley, Alabama. He was well loved and liked in all neighborhoods near and far. He was a ray of sunshine, but the light will be everlasting.

On Wednesday, June 13, 2018, he heard the call and departed to his Heavenly home.

Reggie was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mr. Tommie and Minnie Pearson; grandmother, Willie Bell McCants; brother, Tommie Heard, aunts, Rosie Lee Jackson, Catherine Ross, Mary Brown, Audrey Lewis, Alberta Phillips, Helen Johnson, Lula Huguley, uncles, Henry Allen Pearson; Wesley Pearson; Theo Mathis; Walter Mathis; Arthur Mathis, James (Radio) Mathis, Leonard Pearson.

Those who will celebrate his life and cherish his memories are: one sister, Belinda L. Phillips, Greenville, AL; one brother, Jeffery Pearson, Fort Myers, FL; four aunts, Rudene (George) McCants, Valley, AL; Annie Trammell, Roanoke, AL; Julia (A.C.) Cofield, Roanoke, AL; Doris Trammell, Roanoke, AL; two nephews, Jerome (Tisha) Phillips, Lawrenceville, GA; Trey Pearson, Lanett, AL; four nieces, Shemeka Phillips, Lawrenceville, GA; Chiquita Phillips, Greenville, AL; Jotrineesha Walton, Stone Mountain, GA; Ravyn (Albert) Simpson, Lanett, AL; two great- nieces, Ry’Asia Smith, Lanett, AL; Ma’Kailyn Betton, Greenville, AL; two great-nephews, Emarrie Cooper, Lanett, AL; Jacquees Walton, Lanett, AL and a host of relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. (EST) at the Rehoboth Missionary Baptist Church in Valley, Alabama with Pastor Karanja Story officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Lanett, Alabama. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1-7 p.m. EST at the Davis Memorial Mortuary in Valley.
