OPELIKA, Ala. — Ms. Darlene M. Hall, 66, of Opelika, Ala. passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Valley.
Ms. Hall was born in Phenix City, Ala. on September 18, 1951 to the late Robert David May and Pricilla Alice Lucinda Jones May.
She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Shane Hurst.
Ms. Hall was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed reading and she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ms. Hall is survived by her daughters, Peggy F. Hurst, Valley; Melody R. (Ashley) Baker, Pell City, Ala.; sisters Sheila Hadaway and Charlotte Prosser; grandchildren Brandi Darlene (Josh) Johnson, Chasity Starr (Sean) Nivens, Katie Alexandria Hurst, Pricilla Diane Cunningham, Bailey Sian Baker, Justin Alexander Hall and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with the Rev. Phillip Doss officiating. Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 p.m. EDT until the service hour.
