LaFAYETTE — Five people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
› Phillip Williams, 29, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree (harassment);
› Allegra Vines, 41, of LaFayette has been charged with menacing;
› Jared Daugherty, 21, of Valley has been charged with obstruction of justice;
› Eddie Tucker, 37, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of driving under the influence, open container, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, second degree.
› Joseph Sanders, 28, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with probation violation – possession of a controlled substance, and probation violation – possession of drug paraphernalia.
There were 174 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Wednesday morning.
Valley reports
VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
› Jacob Christopher Lawrence, 28, of Valley has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Valley police officers are investigating reports of the unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, on the 2100 block of 35th Street, the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, on the 3300 block of 25th Boulevard, theft of property, second degree, on the 1100 block of County Road 519 and possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.
