Lanett reports

LANETT — Seven people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Michael Lance Marable, 28, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer traffic-related charges;

Tina Lynn Eells, 51, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Brenda Louise Finley, 51, of LaFayette has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Shanier Mathis Davis, 49, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Tommy Lee Crawford, 24, of Lanett has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree;

Dakota James Badenna, 21, of Valley has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and

Ashleigh Robin McCoy, 38, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, the unauthorized use of a debit card was reported on the 2600 block of 56th Avenue SW, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, were reported on the 300 block of 18th Court SW, identity theft was reported on the 1900 block of 8th Street SW, theft of property, first degree, was reported at the Cherry Valley Shopping Center, possession of a forged instrument was reported in the 1100 block of South Gilmer Avenue, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 700 block of North 8th Avenue, and breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1100 block of East 1st Avenue.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Vashon Wallace, 45, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – child support;

Mandy Foster, 43, of Lanett has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest;

Brenda Finley, 51, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – cruelty to a dog or cat, first degree;

Gabriel Woody, 33, of Valley has been charged with FTA – child support and FTA – driving with an expired license.

There were 165 inmates in the Chambers County jail Monday morning.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Nakia Shamon Frederick, 40, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Amber Nicole Horne, 35, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with FTA – traffic.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on the 200 block of East Sears Street. criminal trespassing, first degree, was reported on the 1300 block of Sydney Street, criminal mischief, third degree, has been reported on the 1400 block of Ben Brown Road and criminal trespassing, first degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, were reported on the 2000 block of Ben Brown Road.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — Three people were arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Alan Colson of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with failure to appear in court;

James Edward Todd of West Point has been charged with simple battery, and

Preston Todd of West Point has been charged with simple battery.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, a burglary was reported on Forest Mill Lane and the theft of an automobile was reported on Highway 29.

LaFAYETTE reports

LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in LaFayette over the weekend. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

Dennis Asberry has been charged with reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm in the city limits;

Billie Holloway has been charged with two counts of domestic violence, third degree;

Caleb Osborne has been charged with driving under the influence, and

Delvin Phillips has been charged with two counts of failure to appear in court.
