Ms. Lisa Johns Deese

VALLEY — Ms. Lisa Johns Deese, 52, of Valley passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 13th, 2018.  She went home to be with her Heavenly Father.

Ms. Deese was born on October 25, 1965 in Langdale, Ala.

Lisa was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and she opened her heart and her home to many over the years.  She had a special love for her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.  She had a special bond with her brother Robbie, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by and lovingly remembered by her loving mothers, Patricia Eunice, and her stepmother, Martha Johns;  her children, Chris Hall, Melissa Hall, Laura Keafer, Amanda Hall and Terry Smith; her grandchildren, Christian Hall, Anthony Keafer, David Esquivel, Constance Hall, Selena Keafer, Olivia Arwood, John Thomas “J.T.” Arwood, Alisa Hall, Noah Keafer and Desiray Hall, Aaron Smith, Danielle Smith, Courtney Smith; sisters Amanda Johns and Gina Brooks, Teresa Nix and Mary Jean Hunt; her brother, Randall Hunt; nephews and nieces Lucas Johns, Kiley Johns, Jacob Johns, Lee Johns, Richard Johns, Casey Gasaway, Eric Johns, Jordyn Johns, Bryan Johnson, Sue Ann Johnson; her husband, Rusty Hall and her best friend, Leann Coleman.

Lisa was preceded in death by her loving fathers, Robert Clyde Johns and stepfather, Johnny Eunice; brothers Ricky Johns, Tony Johns, Robert “Robbie” Johns and sisters Peggy Sue Johns and Norma Jean Johns.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment following in Shawmut Cemetery. The Rev. Floyd Aikens will officiate. Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 p.m. EDT until 8 p.m. EDT.
