Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Seven people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Kristi Henderson, 40, of Valley has been charged with negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument (bad check);

› Tony Hester, 21, of Valley has been charged with failure to pay – child support;

› Cornelius Moreland, 33, of Forest Park, Ga. has been charged with being a fugitive from justice, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, second degree, and

› Jonathan Whitlow, 44, of Opelika has been charged with two counts of failure to pay child support.

› David Marcum, 66, of Valley has been charged with violating the Sex Offender Registration Notification Act (SORNA);

› Brandon Moon, 29, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of driving without his seat belt on, and

› Phillip Albright, 44, of Wadley, Ala. has been charged with FTA – the unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance.

A total of 165 inmates were in the Chambers County jail Thursday morning.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

› Reginald Tremayne Cleveland, has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

› Shakorea Shaless Smith, 29, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and tampering with physical evidence;

› Bryan Stephen Green, 45, of Phenix City, Ala. has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and

› Adrean Lashay Davis, 33, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, second degree.

In incidents that were reported on Wednesday, Lanett officers are investigating reports of criminal mischief, second degree, on the 2100 block of South Broad Avenue, menacing on the 1600 block of 15th Street SW, domestic violence, third degree, on the 700 block of North 14th Court, theft of property, third degree, on the 1100 block of South Gilmer Avenue, criminal mischief, third degree, on the 200 block of South 19th Street, possession of a forged instrument, second degree, on the 1300 block of Gilmer Avenue and harassment on the 5500 block of 13th Street SW.

Valley reports

VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Donaven Lewis, 33, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents that were reported on Wednesday, Valley officers are investigating reports of duty upon striking a motor vehicle on the 1800 block of 54th Street, and recovered property on the 300 block of Fob James Drive.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — An incident of criminal trespassing on East 7th Street was reported to the West Point Police Department on Wednesday.

LaFayette reports

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in LaFayette on Wednesday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

› Corey Swint has been charged with burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree.

In an incident being investigated by LaFayette police, the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on LaFayette Street North.
