LANETT — Ms. Eva D. Ashford, of Lanett, Ala. passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at EAMC-Lanier Hospital in Valley, Ala.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018, 1 p.m. EDT at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Cusseta, Ala. with the Rev. Arthur Thomas, pastor, and the Rev. Leonard Autry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Ashford is survived by her daughter, Katrina Ashford (Latterance James) of Lanett; grandchildren: Jerrell and Randall Ashford; her sister, Patricia Turner of Opelika, Ala.; her brothers, Jerry (Coren) Turner of Cusseta, Ala., Bobby Turner (Annie Bulger) of Opelika and Charlie F. (Alice) Turner of Salem, Ala.; a special friend, George Pollard, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
