LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› John Edward McCarley Jr., 27, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

There were 165 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Thursday morning.

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Tykerrious Ray has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and Brittany Flurry has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

In incidents that were reported on Wednesday, Valley officers are investigating domestic violence, third degree, on the 1700 block of 43rd Street, criminal mischief, second degree, in Valley Medical Park, theft of property, second degree, on the 1600 block of 54th Street, theft of property, third degree, on the 5200 block of 23rd Boulevard and domestic violence, third degree, on the 1700 block of 5th Street.
