Valley reports

VALLEY — Five people were arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Marcis Strickland, 29, of Lanett has been charged with four counts of bail jumping, second degree;

› Joshua Michael Johnson, 30, of Valley has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia;

› Crystal Prather, 35, of Valley has been charged with interfering with child custody;

› Januari Nelson, 23, of Valley has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, and

› Walter Alfred Hawkins, 71, of Valley has been charged with violating a protection order.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, were reported on the 5200 block of 23rd Boulevard, interfering with child custody was reported on the 2400 block of 35th Street and harassment was reported on the 5400 block of 15th Avenue.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

› Marcis Corderro Strickland, 29, of Lanett has been charged with three counts of bail jumping, third degree;

› Terrence Antonio Jeffery, 43, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, third degree;

› Printis Maliki Williams, 30, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer traffic charges and bail jumping, second degree, and

› Christy Nicole Trammell, 31, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, harassment was reported on the 1600 block of 24th Street SW, domestic violence reported on the 5200 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway, breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property, second degree, reported on the 2800 block of Cusseta Road, theft of property, fourth degree, reported on the 2500 block of 28th Avenue SW, harassment reported on the 200 block of South 11th Street, and theft of property, fourth degree, reported on the 700 block of South 13th Street.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Keenan Cooper, 27, of Tallassee, Ala. has been charged with FTA – speeding;

› Karl Scott, 32, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – the unlawful distribution and furnishing of a controlled substance and

› Mitchell Schaffner, 36, and Heather Frost, 35, both of Anniston, Ala. have each been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
