VALLEY — The Valley Police Department has found four-month-old Kaylee Roxanne McGill, who had been missing since Wednesday, Sept. 19.

According to a press release, Kaylee was located on Sunday, Sept. 23 and returned to her father. The case is still under investigation. Valley police were unavailable for further comment as of the time of this report.

According to the initial report, the child was thought to have been taken by her non-custodial mother, Candace Roxanne Cauley, 32, of the Phenix City/Salem, Ala.-area. Cauley is currently wanted on domestic violence charges in Valley; other charges against her are pending.

It’s not known where the infant was taken or what type of vehicle was used.
