WEST POINT — Mr. Haron Hairston (also known as Harold Hubbard), a resident of West Point, Ga., died Monday, September 17, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 12 noon EDT from Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel, Valley, Ala., with the Rev. Willie G. Wimberly officiating.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Valley. Davis Memorial Mortuary is directing.

Mr. Hairston (Hubbard) was a 1972 graduate of West Point High School.  He was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord.  His survivors include two daughters, Latisha (Demond) Barker, Portsmouth, Va. and Nakilia Hubbard (Leronta) Lovelace, Valley; five grandsons, DeQuavius Barker, JaQuerius Barker and LaMontae Barker, all of Portsmouth, Va.; Randy Johnson and Arjaden Satterwhite, both of Valley; one granddaughter, Fantasia Satterwhite, Valley; one great-granddaughter, Nylah Barker, Portsmouth, Va.; three sisters, Ollie Marie (Ronnie) Middleton, Savannah, Ga., Patricia Wrotham, West Point, Ga. and Jacqueline Gray, Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Fuller (Janice) Hubbard Jr., Boston, Mass.; four uncles, four aunts, a special cousin, Christopher (Sharon) Jackson, Lawrenceville, Ga.; a very special friend, Cynthia Tolbert, Birmingham, Ala. and, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
