Valley reports

VALLEY — Four people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Jackie Lee Carrell, 58, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Demarquez D. Jenkins, 24, of West Point, Ga. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Jonathan Clayton Mitchell, 53, of Valley has been charged with two counts of failure to appear in court to answer traffic charges, and

Marshall James Hinson, 25, of Valley has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, criminal possession of a forged instrument, third degree, was reported on the 3700 block of 20th Avenue, harassing communications was reported on 12th Avenue, and theft of property, first degree, reported on the 2900 block of 55th Street.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Two people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Stefon Nadir Trammell, 18, of Lanett has been charged with the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree, and

Gary Phillip Hupp, 46, of Panama City, Fla. has been charged with public intoxication.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 300 block of East 20th Street, the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1500 block of South 3rd Street, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 500 block of South 7th Street, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 600 block of Cherry Drive, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 100 block of South 2nd Avenue, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1900 block of 23rd Avenue SW, harassment was reported on the 5300 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway, harassing communications was reported on the 1500 block of 30th Court SW and theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 1300 block of North 13th Avenue.

Sheriff’s reports

LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Jaquavius Williams, 26, of Valley has been charged with reckless endangerment and attempted murder, and

Derrick Calloway Jr., 18, of Cusseta, Ala. has been charged with burglary, third degree, and theft of property, first degree.

There were 159 inmates in the Chambers County jail Friday morning.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, criminal trespassing was reported on the south-bound lane of I-85 and a motor vehicle accident was reported on Kia Parkway.
