Lanett reports

LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Valintez Deontae Edmonson, 27, of Lanett has been charged with a probation violation;

Candace Latrease Brock, 30, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Travis Dwight Smith, 33, of Valley has been charged with three counts of bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 1000 block of East 3rd Avenue and menacing was reported on the 1900 block of South Broad Avenue.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Terrence Thompson, 25, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with using false identity to obstruct justice;

Gabriel Combest, 26, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with being a fugitive from justice, and

Jonathan Willis, 30, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, first degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle was reported on the 5300 block of 16th Avenue, harassment was reported on the 2000 block of 53rd Street, reckless endangerment was reported on the 2400 block of 19th Avenue, harassing communications reported on the 30 block of Middle Street, harassment reported on the 2400 block of 19th Avenue, and assault, third degree, reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Tuesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Jakara Truitt of West Point was arrested on warrants from Troup County.

In an incident being investigated by West Point officers, theft by shoplifting was reported on East 10th Street.

Lafayette reports

LaFAYETTE — Five people were arrested in LaFayette on Tuesday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

Marsha Kay Goodson, 51, has been charged with failure to pay;

Charles Ross has been charged with driving under the influence;

Anthony Briskey, 41, has been charged with burglary, third degree, theft of property, fourth degree, and resisting arrest;

Darian Woody, 27, has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and

Maria Meriweather, 33, has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Seven people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Pebeela Pratt, 43, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with failure to pay – NWNI (bad checks);

Delvron Demon Bledsoe, 41, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to pay child support;

Travis Dwight Smith, 33, of Valley has been charged with two counts of failure to appear in court to answer charges of not making child support payments and one count of not making child support payments;

Chandra Lashell Parker, 40, of Lanett has been charged with possession of a forged instrument, second degree;

Jeremy Lee Cofield, 37, of LaFayette has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, and FTA – drug offender (Ephedrine);

Angela Denise Slaughter, 42, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay – NWNI, and

Candace Latrease Brock, 30, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – possession of a controlled substance and FTA – possession of drug paraphernalia.

There were 161 inmates in the Chambers County jail Wednesday morning.
