AUBURN, Ala. — Courtney Thomas, 24, of Auburn, Ala.  died Monday October 22, 2018 in Auburn.

Courtney was born on June 17, 1994 in Opelika, Ala. to Brian Thomas and Michelle Robinson. She was a member of the  First Methodist Church in LaFayette, Ala. and worked in the Poultry Science lab at Auburn University and was to graduate from Auburn University in December. She loved animals, camping and kayaking.

Graveside services will be held Thursday October 25, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. CDT at the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Howard officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the graveside service. She is survived by her mother, Michelle Robinson of LaGrange, Ga., her father, Brian Thomas of LaFayette, her brother, Lakin Street Smith, grandmother, Debbie Valencia of Lanett, Ala., uncles Tony McLain (Tammy), Michael McLain and Matt Thomas, an aunt, Desiree McLain; cousin, Kelcie McLain, and some great Aunts and uncles.  On line condolences may be sent ao jeffjonesfuneralhome.com.
