Valley reports

VALLEY — Five people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

John Scott East, 31, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, resisting arrest and obstructing a government operation.

John Paul East, 49, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, first degree, and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling;

Jallisa Washington, 24, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping;

Heather Turner, 35, of Valley has been charged with assault, third degree, and unlawful imprisonment, and

Kerneshia Bridges, 21, of LaGrange, Ga.  has been charged with failure to pay.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Kernishia K. Bridges, 21, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with giving false information to a law enforcement officer;

Janice Goins, 53, of Valley has been charged with harassment, and

Caltavious Laquez Roberts, 24, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, rape, first degree, was reported on the 3800 block of 32nd Street SW, reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm within the city limits was reported on the 400 block of North 15th Street, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 400 block of North 14th Avenue, harassment, theft of property, fourth degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, were reported on the 600 block of South 2nd Avenue, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 300 block of South 7th Avenue.

Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Caltavious Roberts, 24, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

There were 147 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Thursday morning.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Wednesday. According to West Point Police Department reports, Charles Butler of West Point was charged with driving unlicensed.
