Lanett reports

LANETT — Six people were arrested over the weekend in Lanett. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Christy Marie Yates, 30, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, and possession of a forged instrument;

Herman McCants, 52, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Cosammie Domango Lewis Dawson, 44, of Lanett has been charged with three counts of bail jumping, second degree;

Alexander Latrez Stevenson, 25, of Lanett has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree;

Shelton Tonez Wilson, 44, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and attempting to elude a police officer, and

Takeyla Mashay Henry, 24, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, third degree, and burglary, third degree, were reported pm the 1400 block of County Road 202…

 

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Eleven people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Cortez Vines, 41, of LaFayette has been charged with carrying a pistol without a permit;

Olin Robertson, 44, of Cusseta, Ala. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a speeding charge;

Cosammie Dawson, 44, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay child support;

Nakia Chambers, 29, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with failure to pay for driving with a suspended license;

Larry Love, 27, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay child support;

Lorrie Crist, 54, of LaFayette has been charged with obstructing a government operation;

Herman McCants, 52, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay child support;

Kalem Harrelson, 24, of Valley has been charged with FTA – driving with a suspended license;

Jaquavious Ross, 24, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – no driver’s license;

Jirvarious Hinkle, 33, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with FTA – obstructing justice/giving false identity to police;

Cartino Williams, 44, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – running a red light, and

Tony Shivers, 59, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – child support.

There were 168 inmates in the Chambers County jail Monday morning.

VALLEY — Seven people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Anthony Bailey Jr., 45, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Deangelo Bolston, 37, of Valley has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, second degree;

Larry Love, 28, of Lanett has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia;

Joseph Chase Ferguson, 21, of Valley has been charged with attempting to elude a police officer and possession of marijuna, second degree;

Tekeyal McHenry, 24, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Jonathan J. Edward-Campos, 45, of Opelika has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Justin Avery Segrest, 26, of Valley has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and bail jumping, second degree.

 

west point reports

WEST POINT — Two people were arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Keith Hill of Columbus, Ga. has been charged with shoplifting, and

Deandres Fannin of Pine Mountain, Ga. was arrested on a warrant from the LaGrange, Ga. Police Department.
