Lanett reports

LANETT — Five people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Da’Quarious Renaetez Johnson, 19, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, and criminal trespassing, second degree;

Ronald Turner Stiggers, 65, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a traffic-related charge;

Shirley Denise Jelks, 34, of Valley has been charged with FTA – traffic;

Jayla Christine Houston, 24, of Valley has been charged with two counts of FTA – traffic, disorderly conduct and obstructing a government operation, and

Ray Charles Wright, 52, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, harassment was reported on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 500 block of South 8th Street, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1100 block of County Road 458 and the unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 800 block of North 11th Avenue.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Robert Patrick Williams, 31, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree;

January Nelson, 23, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree. and

Billy Jack Jordan, 29, of Valley has been charged with public intoxication.

In an incident being investigated by Valley officers, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.

Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Jessica Mitchell, 32, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with FTA – driving without a license, and

Courtney Lovelace, 25, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with negotiating with a worthless negotiable instrument.

A total of 137 inmates were in the Chambers County jail Wednesday morning.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — Two people were arrested in West Point on Tuesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Harold Slaughter of West Point has been charged on a probation violation by the Douglasville, Ga. Police Department, and

Joshke Ross of West Point has been charged with disorderly conduct and hindering law enforcement.
