The Bulldogs are in.

After weeks of only receiving nominations, the LaFayette girls basketball team (15-3, 4-0) has been voted in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) prep poll as the No. 9 team in Class 2A. The LaFayette girls are one of the four Valley area teams to receive nomination votes.

The Chambers Academy (13-4) and LaFayette boys (18-3, 4-0)  were both nominated to be in this week’s poll, but found themselves on the outside looking in. After getting off to an undefeated start in area play, the Lanett boys found themselves back in the rankings after not receiving a nomination last week.
