The Bulldogs are in.
After weeks of only receiving nominations, the LaFayette girls basketball team (15-3, 4-0) has been voted in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) prep poll as the No. 9 team in Class 2A. The LaFayette girls are one of the four Valley area teams to receive nomination votes.
The Chambers Academy (13-4) and LaFayette boys (18-3, 4-0) were both nominated to be in this week’s poll, but found themselves on the outside looking in.
