Arrest reports for period ending Feb. 12

Valley reports

VALLEY — Six people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Arsenio Floyd, 29, of Valley has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, second degree;

Terriell Woodson, 25, of Valley has been charged with public lewdness, two counts of attempting to elude a police officer and resisting arrest;

James Anthony Owens, 54, of Lanett has been charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing, third degree;

Frank Alvin Ray Jr., 49, of Valley has been charged with criminal trespassing, and

two juveniles, ages 15 and 16, have each been charged with minor in possession of tobacco and possession of marijuana, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, domestic violence, third degree, criminal trespassing, third degree, and three counts of criminal mischief, second degree, was reported on the 1100 block of County Road 522, domestic violence, third-degree – harassment, and theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 100 block of Oak Street, domestic violence, third-degree – harassment was reported on the 3300 block of 15th Avenue.

Lanett Reports

LANETT — Six people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Mindy Owens, 38, of Cataula, Georgia has been charged with theft of property, third degree;

Robert Andrew Welch, 31, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Tycasa Fleshar Ashad Marshall, 23, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a traffic-related offense;

Eric Maurice Hicks, 43, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Kenneth Lamond Murphy, 46, of Greenville, Georgia has been charged with attempting to elude a police officer, and

Tymichael Antonio Mitchell, 28, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 1000 block of 44th Avenue SW, identity theft was reported on the 300 block of North 8th Avenue, harassing communications was reported on the 5400 block of 16th Street SW, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 2400 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1900 block of 23rd Street SW and robbery, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of South 3rd Avenue.

Sheriff’s Reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Byron Ray Chapman, 25, of Roanoke has been charged with public intoxication;

Rondarius Stewart, 23, of Tallassee has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and carrying a pistol without a permit, and

Traco Heard, 44, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – driving with a revoked license.

There were 149 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Monday morning.

West Point Reports

WEST POINT — Three people were arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Jallisa Washington of Lanett has been charged with driving with a suspended license;

Markeisha Jones of Lanett has been charged with driving with a suspended license and

Christopher Hardy of Montgomery has been charged with driving without a valid license.

LaFayette Reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in LaFayette over the weekend. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

Jerome Avery, 51, has been charged with failure to appear or pay;

Kennedy Ray Briskey, 54, has been charged with public intoxication and public lewdness, and

Linzie Brooks, 63, has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.

In incidents being investigated by LaFayette officers, burglary, third degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on Highway 77, harassing communications was reported on LaFayette Street North and burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on 1st Street NE.
