Linda Tolbert gave the program titled “Those Lepers Again” with scripture from Luke 17:11-17 and talked about needy people in our lives.

“God places people in our lives so that we can show his love by how we reach out to them in their time of need,” she said. “Pray, seek God’s will about how he wants you to respond and then step out and leave the results to him.”

Elizabeth Hall read the minutes of the previous meeting, and Mary Ann Fuller gave the treasurer’s report and stated that a donation was made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, which had exceeded their goal. The goal for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American missions was also set. The hostesses for the next three monthly meetings were announced.

The hostesses are Liz Landreth at her home in April, Mary Ann Fuller meeting at the Post Office in May and Linda Tolbert also meeting at the post office in June.  Suggested items for the shoe boxes for February are: balls, jump ropes and ball caps.
