Mr. Ken Cook

CUSSETA, Ala. — Mr. Ken Cook, 71, of Cusseta passed away on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, at Emory Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, Ga. He was born on May 31, 1947, in Langdale.

Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Jennifer Cook; his three children, Tracie Cook, Rob (Tina) Cook, and Felicia (Mike) Smith; his step-daughter, Leslie Carmichael; his eight grandchildren, Jessica Jernigan, Kristen (Chris) Grimes, Cody Cook, Kaleb Cook, Abbie Cook, Alison Cutts, Erica Cutts, and John Carmichael; his three great-grandchildren, Samiya Grimes, Gabriel Grimes, and Paxton Grimes; his sister-­in-­law, Margaret Cook; his four nieces, Evelyn, Jane Ellen, Jan, and Beth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Warner Cook and Evelyn Irene Cook; two brothers, Robert Warner Cook Jr. and Phillip Marion Cook.

Mr. Cook was an avid University of Alabama fan who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and photography. He retired from UPS after 31 years of service as a driver.  He was a wonderful family man.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at 3 p.m. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 2 p.m. EST until the service hour at the funeral home.
