Lanett Reports

LANETT — Two people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Donald Herman Sprensy, 36, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, interference with a domestic violence emergency, resisting arrest and assault, second degree;

Jerniski Montorious Lavel Dorsey, 24, of West Point has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 2900 block of Cusseta Road, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 2000 block of 54th Avenue SW, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 200 block of North 14th Street, criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 1800 block of 23rd Street SW and domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of North 14th Court.

Valley Reports

VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Amanda Brown, 38, of Valley has been charged with allowing livestock to run at large;

Kenorrius Pierre Gates, 25, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Annie Ruth Hollen Maddox, 38, of Opelika has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1700 block of Seoul Garden Way, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.

Sheriff’s Reports

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

James Carmichael, 54, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of theft by deception, second degree.

There were 144 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Thursday morning.
