Valley reports

VALLEY — Five people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Marie Reaves, 43, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer two traffic-related offenses;

Jason Swader, 43, of Valley has been charged with two counts of bail jumping;

Brandon Omar Jennings, 25, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Darionta McKinney, 21, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, and

Steven Parolee, 54, of Valley has been charged with driving under the influence.

Valley officers are investigating incidents of theft of property, fourth degree, on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue, domestic violence, third degree, on the 1800 block of 52nd Street, and burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, on the 5200  block of 20th Avenue.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Jo Reaves, 43, of Valley has been charged with FTA – traffic;

Lucius Jones, 32 of Lanett has been charged with reckless endangerment and attempting to elude a police officer, and

De’Andre Harris, 38, of Opelika has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, possession of a forged instrument, second degree, was reported on the 2800 block of Phillips Road, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1800 block of 53rd Avenue SW.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — Three people were arrested in West Point on Thursday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Teryl Wortham of LaGrange has been charged with making terroristic threats and aggravated stalking;

Warren Trice of West Point has been charged with public drunkenness, and

Fyhona Buckner of West Point has been charged with a probation violation.

In an incident being investigated by West Point officers, theft by taking was reported on Kia Parkway.

LaFayette reports

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in LaFayette on Thursday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

Kenny Martin, 60, has been charged with DUI and firearms license required.

In incidents being investigated by LaFayette officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on Alabama Avenue West, menacing was reported on 1st Avenue SW and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on 1st Street SE.

Sheriff’s  reports

LaFAYETTE — There were 142 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Friday morning.
