LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Hannah Wilcher, 26, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, has been charged with four counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and

Jacqueline Alonso, 33, of Lawrenceville, Georgia has been charged with three counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

There were 162 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Thursday morning.

Lanett Reports

LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Jeremiah Isaiah Williams, 22, of Orlando, Florida, has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and attempting to elude a police officer;

Aneshia Shealey, 28, of Birmingham has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a traffic-related charge, and

Timothy Walton, 47, of Tallapoosa, Georgia, has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

Valley Reports

VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Ray Charles Wright, 54, of Cusseta has been charged with public intoxication.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, menacing was reported on the 2900 block of 20th Avenue and duty to give information and render aid was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.

West Point Reports

WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating reports of simple battery on Frank Hall Jr. Street and criminal damage to property on Avenue E.
