LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambes County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Tyrone Ross, 50, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of possession of marijuana, first degree;

Brian Preston, 34, of Cusseta has been charged with FTA – drug court, trafficking methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree;

Galvin Traylor, 41, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree, and

Zachary Meadows, 24, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to pay – unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree.

There were 151 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Friday morning.

LANETT — Two people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Tyrell Hurston, 33, of Lanett has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and bail jumping, second degree, and

Brandi Weldon, 24, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 1900 block of 13th Avenue SW and domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 2600 block of 14th Street SW.

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Tristin Hans Norgard, 19, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and three counts of FTA – traffic, and

Charles Randy Reese, 61, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree – criminal mischief.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 7500 block of School Street, recovered property was reported on the 1200 block of Newton Road, domestic violence, third degree – harassment was reported on the 200 block of Richmond Street, harassment was reported on the 2900 block of 20th Avenue and domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 300 block of MLK Drive.

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Thursday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Cekeria Brooks, 20, of West Point has been charged with simple battery — family violence, battery against a pregnant female and cruelty to children.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, disorderly conduct was reported on East 10th Street and shoplifting reported on East 10th Street.
