Beulah receives nomination in first ASWA baseball poll

GREATER VALLEY AREA — The Beulah High School varsity baseball team (9-2) received votes in the first Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) baseball prep poll that was announced on Thursday.

The Bobcats are coming off of a 12-2 win over Spencer on Wednesday night at home. Kaleb Abney led Beulah at the plate in the win by driving in three RBIs. 

Beulah also defeated Prattville Christian Academy 8-7 last Saturday night. It was the first win over Prattville for the program in head baseball coach David Russell’s tenure with the ballclub.
