Drug Task Force arrests four people on drug charges

The Chambers County Drug Task Force, along with the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested four people on 17 charges as a result from various traffic stops between March 11 and March 13. The following individuals were arrested and are facing drug charges.
Darian Woody, 28, of Lanett, was arrested Monday and is facing possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy), carrying a pistol without a permit and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kentavious Copeland, 24, of Lanett, was arrested Tuesday and is facing possession of marijuana first degree, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Travis Yamawns Little, 38, of Lanett, was arrested Wednesday and is facing possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (morphine), unlawful possession of a controlled substance (amphetamine), unlawful possession of a controlled substance (clonazepam) and possession of a drug paraphernalia.
Police say Little is also facing extradition to Troup County for probation violation for possession of dangerous narcotics (opiates), possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
Tony Mikal Hester, 21, of Valley, was arrested Wednesday for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (morphine), unlawful possession of a controlled substance (amphetamine), unlawful possession of a controlled substance (clonazepam) and possession of a drug paraphernalia.
Agents also seized a quantity of methamphetamine, pills, baggies, needles, smoking devices, U.S. currency, a pistol and SUV vehicle. All the subjects have been transported to the Chambers County Jail. To report drug crimes, contact the Chambers County Drug Task Force at (334) 756-0570.
