Mr. William Thomas “Tommy” Hill Jr.

CUSSETA  — Mr. William Thomas “Tommy” Hill Jr., 69, of Cusseta passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at his residence. He was born on Oct. 6, 1949 in Langdale.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Brenda Osborn Hill; his children, Jim (Stacy) Hill, Todd (Anissa) Hill, and Dewayne Hill; his step­children, Sabrina (Jimmy) Carlisle, Dana (Nacho) Barajas, Lee (Stacey) Long, Angela (Craig) Blackmon and Jennifer Black; his sisters, Pat (Billy) Shaddix and Peggy Sellers; many beloved grandchildren and great ­grandchildren; his half­ brother, Richard Duffey and half ­sister, Debra (Emanuel) Sapp.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Hill Sr.; mother, Anita Pearl Hubbard Duffey, and half­ brother Jimmy Duffey.

Mr. Hill was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War.  He was of the Baptist faith. He was a big Dale Earnhardt fan who enjoyed fishing, working in his yard and with his hands and watching westerns.  He loved to listen to church on the radio on Sundays and to spend time with his family and his special fur baby, Allie.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2 p.m. EST at the Johnson Brown­-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley.  The Rev. David Waldrop will officiate.  Interment will follow in Marseilles Cemetery in West Point, Ga.  The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. EST at the Johnson Brown­-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
