Sheriff’s Reports
LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Roscoe Holloway, 55, of Roanoke has been charged with burglary, second degree, and theft of property, fourth degree;
Hunter Mitchell, 24, of Roanoke has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and
Rory Buckhanon, 34, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of not making child support payments.
There were 157 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Wednesday morning.
Lanett Reports
LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Stantavious Roberts, 26, of Lanett has been charged with theft of property, first degree, theft of property, third degree, and criminal mischief, second degree;
Rory Buckhanon, 34, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and
Jaterrio Mitchell, 24, of Lanett has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and firearms license required.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1700 block of South Broad Avenue, and the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of North 12th Avenue.
Valley Reports
VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports.
Jamal Orlando Mayfield, 29, of Lanett has been charged with obstructing governmental operations and resisting arrest, and
Mario Lamas Jackson, 39, of Lanett has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, burglary, third degree, theft of property, fourth degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1500 block of River Road and theft by deception, first degree, was reported on the 2500 block of 61st Street.
West Point Reports
WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Tuesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,
Quintavius Brewer, 18, of LaGrange was arrested for home invasion, first degree, and two counts of aggravated assault.
In an incident being investigated by West Point officers, aggravated battery was reported on East 8th Street.
