LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Brandon Dontae Carwell, 27, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to pay – child support;

Daniel Alan Noon, 30, of LaFayette has been charged with FTP – child support;

Ricky Lewis Banks, 38, of Valley has been charged with two counts of not making child support payments, and

Michael Adam Amato, 32, of Valley has been charged on grand jury indictments for the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

VALLEY – One person was arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Adam Amato, 32, of Valley has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, trespassing, first degree, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

In an incident being investigated by Valley officers, domestic violence, third degree – harassment, was reported on the 200 block of Morgan Street.

LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Anthony Howell, 22, of Valley has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.

In an incident being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal trespassing, third degree, criminal mischief, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1700 block of South Broad Avenue.

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Thursday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Sierra Rivera of West Point has been charged with speeding, no insurance and knowingly driving a motor vehicle with a suspended/cancelled or revoked driver’s license.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, simple assault was reported on Avenue L and theft by shoplifting reported on East 10th Street.
