LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Cordero Story, 22, of Valley has been charged on a grand jury indictment for robbery, first degree;
Kenderious Smith, 23, of Valley has been charged for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of speeding, and
Hershel Heard, 31, of Dadeville, Ala. has been charged with two counts FTA – speeding and FTA – driving with a suspended license.
There were 164 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Tuesday morning.

LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Cynthia Adamson, 37, of Lanett has been charged with harassing communications;
Latavious Tucker, 23, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Norris Gilliam, 60, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree
Delarick St. George, 32, of Lanett has been charged with disorderly conduct.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal trespassing, first degree, and theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 4500 block of 32nd Street SW, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1000 block of Cherry Drive and the fraudulent use of a debit/credit card was reported on the 2300 block of South Broad Avenue.

Norris Lewis Gilliam, 60, of West Point has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and
Roy Larry Beddingt0n, 65, of Valley has been charged with DUI.
