Lanett reports

LANETT — Eight people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports.

William Childers, 37, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a traffic-related charged and bail jumping second degree;

Delarick St. George, 32, of Lanett has been charged with criminal trespassing, third degree;

Justin Duffey, 31, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic;

Jeremy McDonald, 31, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic;

Joseph Floyd, 38, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic;

Joshua Sturkie, 20, of LaFayette has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Thomas Irvin, 25, of Lanett has been charged with a probation violation, and

Kenneth Davis, 61, of Opelika, has been charged with DUI and possession of marijuana, second degree.

In weekend incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 100 block of South 2nd Avenue, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 1300 block of County Road 212 and domestic violence, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 2600 block of 15th Avenue SW.

Sheriff’s reports

LaFAYETTE — Six people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Tommy B. Phillips, 32, of LaFayette has been charged on a grand jury indictment for burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree’

Joshua Kyle Sturkie, 20, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree;

Thomas Allen Irvin, 25, of Lanett has been charged with a probation violation;

Thomas Dwayne Edwin, 26, of New Orleans, Louisiana, has been charged with the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

William Michael Howell, 33, of Lanett has been charged with the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and

Terry Lee Smith, 32, of LaFayette, has been charged with FTA – three counts of driving with a revoked license.

There were 177 inmates in the Chambers County jail Monday morning.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Mary Suzanne Ray, 50, of Lanett has been charged with criminal trespassing, second degree, and resisting arrest, and

Joseph Raymond Floyd, 38, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In weekend incidents being investigated by Valley officers, harassing communications was reported on the 2000 block of Calvary Crescent, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 2400 block of Hopewell Road, the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 2000 block of Calgary Crescent, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 100 block of Gates Street, duty to give information and render aid was reported on the 2800 block of 20th Avenue and theft of services, fourth degree, was reported on the 200 block of 20th Avenue.

West point reports

WEST POINT — In weekend incidents reported to the West Point Police Department, entering an automobile and theft by taking was reported on Frank Hall Jr. Street, battery was reported on Frank Hall Jr. Street and theft by taking reported on East 12th Street.
