Beulah baseball wraps up regular season in area play, receives ASWA nominations

GREATER VALLEY AREA — The Beulah baseball team (12-6, 2-2) was once again nominated to be ranked in this week’s Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) 3A baseball prep poll.

The Bobcats are in the midst of finishing an area series against Dadeville (13-8, 4-4) after dropping Game One of the series to the opponent 11-5 on Wednesday night. Beulah is scheduled to finish the series with a doubleheader against Dadeville on Friday afternoon on the road.

Beulah then returns home next week to begin the final regular season series of the year against Randolph County (11-7, 3-3) on April 9.

Before Wednesday’s series-opening loss to Dadeville, the Bobcats were cruising on a three-game winning streak against area opponent B.B. Comer and 1A Wadley.
