CUSSETA — Mr. Jack Sheppard 72 of Cusseta died Tuesday March 26, 2019, at the Dadeville Health Care Center.

  Mr. Sheppard was born in Randolph County on June 6, 1946, to the late Jim Sheppard and the late Ucie Thompson Sheppard. He’d retired from the James C. Morgan Detention Facility after 18 years.

  Graveside services were held Thursday March 28, 2019, at 2 p.m. CDT at the Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery in Union Hill.

He is survived by a son, Benji Sheppard of Auburn, Ala., a step son, Michael Turnham of Beulah, Ala., a sister, Dinah Bailey of LaFayette his brother, Ted Sheppard of Glenn, Georgia and three step grandchildren.
