Sheriff’s Reports

LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Cassie Nicole Hollis, 33, of Valley has been charged with a probation violation, and

Key Vashaun Pruitt, 31, of Lanett has been charged with destruction of state property by a prisoner.

There were 165 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Tuesday morning.

Valley Reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Monday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Devin Cheyenne Williams, 23, of Cusseta has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, and

Francis Lynn Shumake, 38, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, criminal mischief, first degree, and criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 1000 block of River Road, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 3700 block of 20th Avenue, and theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 3600 block of 55th Street.

Lanett Reports

LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Edward Eugene Keafer, 35, has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In an incident being investigated by Lanett officers, harassing communications was reported on the 1400 block of South 5th Street.

West Point Reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Monday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Eddie Hulin of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with driving without a license.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, a theft was reported on East 12th Street and a hit-and-run accident reported on Kia Parkway.

LaFayette Reports

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in LaFayette on Monday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

Benjamin Joseph Smith, 38, has been charged with failure to pay.

In an incident being investigated by LaFayette officers, permitting dogs to run at large was reported on Springfield Avenue.
