Bobby L. Frederick, Jr., 59, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019, at Lafayette Extended Care in Lafayette.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, May 10, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1512 River Road, Valley with Pastor R. L. Carter, Senior Pastor. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Valley.  The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born on January 25, 1960, in Valley, to the late Bobby L. Frederick, Sr. and Gelene Vaughn Frederick Floyd.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his daughter, Angel Frederick; seven sisters, Sylvia (Willie) Calloway, Latonia Patterson, Poliesha Spillman, Daphne (Freddie) Allen, Amanda (Aaron) Core, Constance (Reginald) McBride, Sheray Harrison; six brothers, Michael Frederick, Randy (Mariette) Floyd, Rev. Travis (Gretchen) Floyd, Kevin Floyd, Patrick (Tammy) Floyd and Antonio (Linda) Woodson and a host of other relatives and friends.
