Sheriff’s Reports
LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Tyler Atkins, 23, of Franklin, Ga. has been charged with being a fugitive from justice;
William DeLee, 34, of Cusseta has been charged on grand jury indictments for rape, first degree, six counts of sodomy, first degree, three counts of sexual abuse, and two counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years of age;
Joshua Henderson, 37, of Atlanta, Ga. has been charged with criminal trespass, first degree, and
Rachel Hall, 24, of Opelika has been charged with a probation violation.
There were 157 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Friday morning.
Valley Reports
VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
Virgil Massey, 30, of Valley has been charged with change bills circulating;
Jimmy Ray Webb, 48, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a traffic-related charge, and
James Lee Shealey, 53, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 1000 block of County Road 495, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.
Lanett Reports
LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Anthony Bailey of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal trespassing, third degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 500 block of North 5th Street, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1600 block of 17th Avenue SW, criminal trespassing, first degree, was reported on the 600 block of South 3rd Street and harassment was reported on the 400 block of South 4th Avenue.
West Point Reports
WEST POINT — West Point Police Department officers are investigating an incident of forgery that was reported Thursday on West 10th Street.
