Two Tyrone residents arrested in West Point on drug charges

A Tyrone, Georgia, man was arrested at about 9 p.m. Saturday night on several drug charges, according to a news release from the West Point Police Department.
Brandon Scott Davis, 33, was stopped while driving in the 1500 block of East 10th Street. Officers started an investigation into driving under the influence and illegal narcotic possession.
Recovered during the arrest, were two open containers of alcoholic beverages, four grams of suspected marijuana, 76 grams of suspects methamphetamine, THC oil and $1,300 in cash.
Davis was taken into custody for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule 1 controlled substance, possession of drug-related objects, trafficking, reckless conduct, reckless driving and speeding.
The passenger in the vehicle, Danielle Nicole Silvey, 31, of Tyrone, was also taken into custody for possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule 1 controlled substance, trafficking and possession of drug-related objects.
