VALLEY — The Hike/Bike/Run Day will be held Saturday at Valley Haven School.

“It’s an exciting event for the whole family that you won’t want to miss,” said Executive Director Craig Brown.

Saturday’s events are scheduled to begin with registration at 7 a.m EDT. There will be free games for the children during the Hike/Bike/Run events, and free food is provided for all participants as well.

“The Hike/Bike/Run awards will be given out around 11 a.m.” Brown added. “Come on out this Saturday and help support Valley Haven and have a good time.

“Make plans to be a part of the fun and excitement of Hike/Bike/Run.”

Anyone can support Valley Haven School through their participation in any of the Hike/Bike/Run events.

The events begin with the seven-mile Jane Carmack Memorial Walk at 8 a.m., running the 5K at 8:25 a.m., walking five miles at 8:30 a.m. or taking part in the one-mile run and/or walk at 8:45 a.m.

“For those who are into riding a bike, there are 10 or 20-mile rides starting at 9 a.m.,” said Brown. “The 10.5K run starts at 9:15. If you have your pledges and would like to go ahead and register, you can do that at the school on Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All times are Eastern. The top Hike/Bike/Run fund raisers will win prizes.
