Mr. Charlie “Bear” Stroud, 75 of Camp Hill passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at noon CST at New Hope Baptist Church in Camp Hill.

The Rev. Henry Cooper, pastor/officiating,  the Rev. Melvin Kelly, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stroud is survived by his wife, Dora M. Stroud, his daughter, Doris Fay (Printes) Stroud-Beals, a motherly aunt, Mattie D. Greathouse, all of Camp Hill, two sisters, Lillie M. Stroud-Lockhart and Dorothy M. Stroud-Smith, both of Opelika, AL, two brothers, Joe F. (Mary Rose) Stroud of Dadeville and Jimmy J. Stroud of Opelika, two sisters-in-law, Florene Bivens and Mary Reeder, both of Camp Hill, one brother-in-law, Winifred Drake of Dadeville, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
