Mr. Maurice Goss, 56 of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Tanner Medical Center in Wedowee.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at 1 p.m. CST at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, Roanoke (Welch Community). The Rev. Calvin Trammell, pastor/ eulogist; the Rev. Joe Cofield, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Goss is survived by his mother, Mary Appleby of Roanoke, grandfather, Ocie B. Appleby of Atlanta, three sisters: Kimberly Goss, Priscilla (Michael) Woods and Samantha (Rondrell) Burkes; two brothers, Robert Appleby and Greg Goss, all of Roanoke;  two aunts, Sarah Trammell of  Roanoke, and Rosie Drake of  Lagrange; one uncle, Valdosta Shealy of Clear Water, Florida, and a host of nieces, nephews,  great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
