Mrs. Nancy Ida White, 88, of Lanett, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019, at 11 a.m. ET from the Happy Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark McGee and Rev. John Samanie officiating.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.

Mrs. White is survived by two daughters, Johnna White & Laura Meadows (Anthony); one son, Brion White, grandchildren, Brittney Fulford, Blake Meadows (Kristin), Hunter Meadows, Stacey Seale, Selena Seale, Bruce Seale; several great-grandchildren; sister, Jane Hausmann (Dave); and sister-in-law, Lois Simpson (The late John Simpson).  She was preceded in death by her parents, Manley Simpson and Alma Herrick Simpson, husband, David Marion White, sister, Barbara Simpson, brothers, John Simpson, Jerry Simpson (Joanne) and David Simpson.

Mrs. White was born in Brewer, Maine, on March 6, 1931.  She was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church and Providence Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Happy Valley Baptist Church or to Providence Baptist Church.
