Mrs. Ruth Haralson, 89, of Lanett died on June 11 at her residence.

Haralson was born in Alabama December 29, 1929, to the late A.C.Waldrop and the late Evalina Stansfield Waldrop. She and her late Husband Walker Haralson owned and operated the LaFayette Furniture Store in LaFayette for over 30 years. Graveside services will be held on June 13 at 2 p.m. CDT at the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Wesley Adams, her grandson officiating.

No visitation will be held.

She is survived by her three children Brenda (Andy) Adams, of Lanett, Richard (LuAnn) Heath, of Opelika and Randy (Virginia) Heath, of Alexander City; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
