Ms. Annie Morria Davidson

Ms. Annie Morria Davidson of West Point died Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Emory University Midtown Hospital in Atlanta. 

Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, June 20, 2019, at 1 p.m. from Bethlehem Baptist Church in West Point, with the Rev. Dr. Willie T. Edmondson officiating.  Interment will follow in Marseilles Cemetery in West Point.  Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley is directing. 

Ms. Davidson was a loving mother and grandmother.  She was an ambassador and a true soldier for God that kept pushing no matter the circumstances.  In the community, she was known as a faithful warrior of and on fire for God.  She never met a stranger and served as a parent for a number of foster children and was also a surrogate parent to many of her children’s friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  her loving and devoted children, Cymantieal (Allen) Cullwell of West Point and Frederick (Cathy) Davidson of Kapolei, Hawaii; loving children whom she adopted, Darquavius Davidson of Chesapeake Bay Virgina, Dario Davidson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Yolanni (Travis) Atkinson of Roanoke; a loving step-daughter whom she reared as her own, Chantilly Davidson of West Point; seven grandchildren; a loving sister, Theresa P. Davidson of Lanett; four Sisters in Christ, Nylon Winston, Constance Morgan, Barbara Jean McFarland and Louise Peay; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

In honoring the request of the decedent, Ms. Annie M. Davidson, there will be no public viewing.
